Improving the user experience of the Fujitsu Infrastructure Manager was an ongoing project for two years during my job as Senior UX Researcher at Fujitsu EST. The products helps administer servers and other hardware in large scale data centers. In this project I, together with my colleagues in the UX team, applied a variety of user research methods (e.g. field research, interviews and heuristic evaluations) to understand our users’ need and problems and suggest solutions based on this knowledge.
I further supported the ISM team through product management activities in the UX context, such as gathering customer requirements, prioritizing feature requests and improvements and conducting analyses of the main competitors of the product from a usability perspective.
